Time Management Tips For Work At Home Mums

Jean came to me after reading my blog and was impressed with the advantages of working from home that I have listed out on my post. But one thing that she couldn’t understand was how do I manage my time - work, family and time for myself?

I told her it was simple (Confession: It was a lie, but I had to act as though I-know-it-all) But from what I read, in order to have my run successfully, all I need to have is some creative thinking and planning and this needs to be done ahead of time. Your can be written on a ‘to-do-list’ and a few days before.

Here are some for  :-

For children who are young, you can pay a few hours of attention to them by bathing and dressing them up for breakfast. Then send them to the direction of their toys and get some work done. Do also take advantage when your child is taking his/her nap.

If your children are older, be specific to them when they can or cannot interrupt you. Give them activities or chores to do to fill up their time. Now it is a good time to help them move towards being independent. Show them where to get their drinks and snacks. Show them where their crayons and books are so they do not disturb you.

What I personally believe is that I should never neglect my two precious (Annabel & Connor). I have promised my husband that I only plan to work 5 hours a day and an hour at the gym. And the rest of the time, it will be devoted to my family.

A lot of people does not realise that a work at home mum can actually be tough , but like I mentioned earlier, all you need is to and  in order to be a successful work-at-home mum!
